“10th NLU Odisha Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot 2023”
The Moot Society of National Law University, Odisha has successfully conducted the 10th National Law University Odisha Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot 2023 from 23th to 26th March 2023. The moot was organised in collaboration with Bose & Mitra & Co. as Title Sponsors with International Institute of Shipping and Trade Law, Swansea University as Strategic Partner; Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution as Resource Partner, Lloyd’s List Intelligence as Knowledge Partner and SCC Online-EBC as Media Partner.
The case study of current edition of IMAM was drafted by drafted by Prof. Andrew Tettenborn, Chair in Law, LLM Shipping & Trade, Prof. Simon Baughen, Professor (Maritime Law), LLM Shipping & Trade, and Prof. Dr. George Leloudas, Professor, LLM Shipping & Trade at the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, Swansea University (United Kingdom).
Over the course of the four days, IMAM was conducted in the offline mode for the first time after the pandemic. It saw the participation of 20 teams which qualified after the memorial qualifies rounds of the moot. IMAM received pathbreaking participation from universities across the nation and hosted judges across the globe.
The concludes with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow lifting the cup and ILS Law College Pune bagging the citations for the Runner’s up, Best Written Submissions and Best Oralist (Nachiket Kulkarni).
