“A certificate course on Pharmaceutical Industry, Public Health, and IPR”

IPAAC of National Law University Odisha is conducting one credit certificate course on Pharmaceutical Industry, Public Health, and IPR on October- November 2023 Resouce person is Prof. Dr. Reji K. Joseph, Institute for Studies in Industrial Development, New Delhi.

Course Description:

This course would challenge the students to think about why the pharmaceutical industry is much talked about in the context of public health crises, especially in developing countries like India. It would familiarise them with the dynamics of the linkage between
pharmaceutical industry and public health touching upon economic, legal, and public policy issues. As this course adopts a multidisciplinary approach, students (masters and doctoral) coming from various academic disciplines can join the course.
