The Centre for Corporate Law, NLUO is delighted to inform you that Mr. Mukesh Gautam?/strong>(Director at Deloitte?askins and Sells LLP)?ill be delivering lectures on the theme “Effective Corporate Governance for Continual Growth” as the third segment of our Guest Lecture Series. About the Speaker<
Mr. Mukesh is a?irector – Internal Audit at Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP and a Trainer on Governance, Ethics, and Risk and Compliance and Fraud. He is a?hartered Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with over 20 years of professional experience, which includes Internal Audit, Risk Management and Financial Transformation among many others. He has incredible insights to offer in his areas of expertise.

Centre for Consumer Law is proud to announce its Two-Day Workshop on “Consumer Dispute Resolution through Mediation” on 27-28 September 2021.
The workshop has been designed keeping in mind the importance of application of consumer law and the growing demand and attraction towards mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism. It will primarily focus on spreading awareness about the need and importance of mediation and the role it has as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. It also aims to discuss the provisions for mediation under the new Act and how beneficial it can be for common citizens.

CPHL Guest lecture: Shantanu Mukherjee on “Lessons from the pandemic: Is IP a barrier to public health?”
Vaccines promise a hope to end the pandemic. But the limitations on manufacturing capabilities amidst a web of intellectual property and reluctance of pharam companies to share the technology have raised concerns about negative impact of IP in access to medicines. To know the nitty-gritty’s of these issues, CPHL is hosting a two day lecture series by?/p>
Shantanu Mukherjee. He is the founder of Ronin Legal, a boutique legal practice that focuses on healthcare, technology, M&A and corporate advisory.
Shantanu is a New York and India qualified lawyer, with an LL.M from Columbia Law School, New York, and a B.A, LL.B (with a gold medal in Intellectual Property law) from National Law School of India University. He’s lived and worked around the world: with Linklaters in New York, White & Case in Singapore, Goodwin Procter in Hong Kong and as Global GC of a commodities/energy group in Dubai. In India, he’s been Global Legal Head for M&A at Cipla, and Regional GC for APAC and Japan at Lupin. He began his career in Luthra & Luthra’s M&A team in Delhi, in 2002. He has two decades of experience managing complex and?igh-value?ransactions, including?ross-border M&A, joint ventures,?nsolvency restructuring,?tructured finance?nd intellectual property licensing.?/p>
He actively writes and teaches in his free time. He is offering a full credit course on Healthcare Law at NLU Delhi, has taught at Singapore Management University and Mallya Aditya School, and been published in, among others, India Business Law Journal,?a href=”http://news18.com/”>news18.com?nd The Quint. With the increase in the use of the internet and social media, there is an increase in cyberbullying.?n a nutshell, cyberbullying can be extremely detrimental to the victim’s physical and?ental health.

The organization?onducts awareness and training sessions on cyber safety and digital hygiene for children, parents, educators, police, organisations, and schools. Apart from this, Nirali Bhatia has also been the Vice Chair at Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI).
