The Internship Committee at NLUO is dedicated to facilitating valuable internship opportunities for NLUO students across diverse sectors within the legal field, including prestigious law firms, legal chambers, government and non-government organisations, judicial offices, regulatory authorities, corporate legal departments, and other institutions.
The Committee serves as the bridge between students and the legal profession by securing internship opportunities, facilitating professional engagement, and organising career development initiatives that prepare students for the practical aspects of the legal profession.

The vision of the Committee is to prepare students for practical legal experience by fostering advocacy, research, drafting and professional skills while strengthening their readiness for future recruitment opportunities. Through facilitating internships every semester, the Committee enables students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional legal practice, thereby enhancing employability and instilling professional ethics.
The Internship Committee’s mission is to foster professional development while strengthening NLUO’s standing amongst legal employers. Beyond internships, the Committee actively organises CV drafting sessions, seminars and webinars that facilitate student-industry interactions and provide valuable insights into diverse legal careers. These initiatives contribute towards building strong professional networks and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence within the NLUO community.
The Internship Committee aims to facilitate the professional growth of NLUO students by securing internship opportunities across leading law firms, litigation chambers, corporate legal departments, government organisations, judicial offices and non-governmental organisations. It also strives to organise career guidance initiatives and professional interactions that enhance students’ practical skills, professional awareness and understanding of the functioning of legal institutions, thereby strengthening their preparedness for the legal profession.
