“A lecture session on ‘Women and Climate Change'”

Kautilya Society at National Law University Odisha is organizing a lecture session on ‘Women and Climate Change‘ on 29.06.2022. Climate change is affecting not only biodiversity but also deepening the existing gender gaps. It is detrimentally affecting women’s health, increasing domestic and sexual violence, placing the unwanted burden on women to run household in limited and ever diminishing resources and much more. This series aims to discuss various aspects of this issue and the necessary measures that must be taken for curbing it. The speakers who are on board for this session are?r. Ramesh Sharma?nd?strong>Shyama Kuriakose.

About Kautilya Society at NLUO:

The Kautilya Society at NLUO is one of eight societies set up by the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy with the aim to widen access to legislative drafting and analysis, and to empower young minds to explore public policy as a career path.
