About Mr. Manu Goswami
Manu Goswami is presently an Assistant Professor of Law (Contractual) at National Law University Odisha. He completed his BA.LLB (Hons.) from National Law University Odisha (2018-2023) and LLM from NALSAR University of Law (2023-24), where his dissertation focused on “Rethinking on Admissibility of Illegally Obtained Evidence.”

Outside academics, he is an avid badminton player and has a keen interest in yoga.

Her areas of interest include corporate laws and intellectual property rights. About Ms. Namrata Sahu
She is presently an Assistant Professor of Law (Contractual) at National Law University Odisha and has two years of teaching experience at the Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore. She completed her LLM from the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur  with a specialization in Intellectual Property Rights. Her research interests lie in the areas of intellectual property law and she is currently pursuing PhD in this area.

Outside of academics, she also has an interest in yoga. She completed an Assistant Yoga Teacher Training Programme and began teaching yoga, an experience that ignited her passion for both teaching and promoting holistic well-being.

About Dr. Shams Tanwi

Dr. Tanwi Shams joined National Law University Odisha as an Assistant Professor of Law in July 2023. Prior to that, she was working as a Research Associate of Law at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam. She completed her Ph.D. from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, and earned her MBA in Human Resource Management from Sikkim Manipal University. Dr. Tanwi acquired her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the National University of Singapore. About Mr. Kumarjeeb Pegu

Mr. Kumarjeeb Pegu currently serves as Assistant Professor of Law at NLUO. Prior to joining the institution, he worked with KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar. He completed his undergraduate studies in B.A. Political Science (Hons) at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, North Campus, Uni. of Delhi, where he was recognized as the ‘Best All-rounder’ in his academic batch and received the S. Mohinder Singh Memorial Scholarship Award. He earned his LL.B from Campus Law Centre, Uni. of Delhi, where he actively participated in the Legal Aid Society and served as the ‘Public Relations Secretary’ for the Counseling and Welfare Cell for the Northeastern States during the 2013-14 academic year. Additionally, he obtained his LL.M from Nalsar Law University, Hyderabad.

His academic interests primarily revolve around Indigenous Peoples and Rights, environmental law, international law, and related subjects, particularly within the realm of public international law and international institutions.

About Ms. Ayushi Srivastava

Ayushi is presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law (Contractual) at National Law University Odisha. She joined the university as Research Associate cum Teaching Assistant. Ayushi has a keen interest in Criminal law and its intersection with gender justice pursuant to which she undertook her dissertation on the topic ‘A need-based analysis of the concept of Marital Rape’ for her LL.M. from Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. She completed her B.A.LL.B(Hons.) from National Law University, Patiala, Punjab, and cleared the UGC-NET examination in 2022. Prior to joining NLUO, she worked as a content developer and a freelance educator for competitive exams like Judicial services exams, CLAT-PG exam, and UGC-NET exam. Helping students is the reason she stepped into the world of academics. Apart from this, she worked with non-profit organizations in creating awareness about mental health issues and was also a contributor to a research and advocacy project which dealt with the ‘Mental healthcare structure in India’.

About Ms. Kriti Srivastava

Kriti Srivastava is presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at National Law University, Odisha. She joined the university as a Research Associate cum Teaching Assistant in 2022. She has been enrolled as an Advocate at the Bihar State Bar Council since 2021 and prior to joining NLUO, was litigating in the Patna High Court and District Courts. Kriti completed her BA.LLB(H) from Amity Law School, Noida with specialisation in Intellectual Property Laws in the year 2020 and her LLM in Constitutional and Administrative laws in 2021. Kriti made her dissertation on the topic “Role of Indian Constitution in Environmental Protection: A Judicial Analysis”. About Mr. Sikandar Mohd

Mohd Sikandar has an LLB from University of Lucknow and LLM from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. His research interest lies in Public International Law, Human Rights Law and Terrorism Law. In particular, his research explores the rights of the minorities and women’s rights during armed conflict. Besides, he is interested in examining the impact of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence on human rights. His recent work has analysed the viability of a dedicated AI Law in India.
