About the Centre:
International trade and international investment are the main drivers of globalization. The growth of international trade and mobility of capital no doubt leads to economic development. It is, however, the responsibility of every country to ensure that its national interests are preserved in the international commercial agreements. This requires research and regular discussions on important trade and investment laws and policies. Dissemination of knowledge and capacity building is also required to ensure and our legal experts are able to defend the country’s interests and build help build and equitable international economic system. The NLUO Centre for International Trade Law was established in 2015. The Center strives to produce high quality and cutting-edge research in the filed of international trade law and international investment law.
