“RCC 2016-21 NLUO to host a session on ‘Competition Law and Recent Developments”.
The Recruitment Coordination Committee is delighted to inform that Mr. Chandramauli Dwivedi (Senior Associate and NLUO alumnus) and Ms. Kanika Chaudhary Nayyar (Partner) from the competition team at L&L Partners would be coming to our university to hold a session on ‘Developments on Competition Law’ on April 3, 2020. Ms.Kanika Chaudhary Nayar is a Partner at the Competition Law Practice Group at the Firm. Ms. Kanika Chaudhary Nayyar, holder of a master degree from the prestigious King’s College London with merit in International Commercial Laws along with EC Competition Lawn regularly appears before the Competition Commission, NCLAT, High Court and the Supreme Court representing clients in a variety of matters including cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, as well as matters relating to anti-competitive agreements. She had been recognised by The Legal 500 and Asia Pacific 2019. She is one of the recommended lawyers in Competition and Antitrust Expert Guides 2018.Chandramauli Dwivedi, a senior associate placed with the competition law practice groupof L&L Partners Law Offices who graduated from National Law University Odisha in 2016 with Honours, regularly acts for clients in ongoing litigation in all major forums. He has represented clients from various sectors such as steel, healthcare, alcoholic beverages, construction equipment, pharmaceuticals, airlines, cement and paper industry.
About the session: The Recruitment Coordination Committee will hold this session with the object of conducting this session is to impart practical knowledge and know-how to students who intend to pursue careers in this field. It will help them learn about the technicality and complexity of the law and apprehend various facets of client and case management. Further, it will help students learn about the potential employment opportunities.
