The Centre is delighted to organize a small event on the occasion of this year’s International Women Day.
The Centre for Women & Law (CWL) is a Research Centre of National Law University Odisha which works with the combined effort of faculty members and students of NLUO. The Centre was established with a view of having a platform for the unremitting study of the structural, societal, legal and regulatory issues associated with gender from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
We are thrilled to announce that we are coming up with a very special issue titled “Paper Castles“. The Centre for Women & Law wishes to invite submissions in the form of short films, short stories, poems, posters, and art for its compendium titled “Paper Castles”. Paper Castles is aimed to generate the spirit of togetherness to stand against the biases existing in the society.
All entries will get a certificate of participation and the best entries in each category will get exciting cash prizes.
There are three categories to the submissions: a) short stories b) poems c) posters and other art forms. The submissions should be based on the theme for this Women’s Day?strong>#BreaktheBias. The event is open to everyone who is willing to contribute. ?/p>
The last date for submissions is 6th?arch 2022, 11:59 pm.
