IDIA?disha has been actively functioning for more than 5 years now and has been striving hard to achieve the targets set by?DIA?nd pursuing the vision of Late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer. After organizing a series of successful events,?DIA?disha brings to you,?/p>
“SHELF INDULGENCE? A Virtual Book Secret Santa“?his Christmas. This is our novel initiative to support the cause of?DIA?s well as?o?nd this year on an enriching note!
About The Event<:<
Life has been at a standstill ever since the pandemic and there has been a dip in everyone’s spirits.?n order to bring some festive cheer,?DIA?disha has decided to don Santa’s hat.?t is said that joy increases as you share it with those around you.?e present?Shelf Indulgence’, a first-of-its-kind initiative wherein we seek to bring Christmas cheer to both you and the students we aim to support.?o participate in this event, each participant shall pay a?inimum token?mount inclusive of shipping and logistical charges and fill a google form with their details and preferences. Based on the same, our team shall dispatch books (the title would be a surprise!) and ship them to the intended recipients so that it reaches them around Christmas.
The collected amount shall be donated to?DIA?o support its cause: increasing awareness about legal education,?ensitize and?acilitate preparation for competitive examinations for students from backward communities, and sponsor their continued education in the top Law Universities of the nation. We invite you to kindly participate in our event and extend your support to the cause.
Even on the rainiest of days when we can’t seem to get that dark, looming cloud to lift off?ur?eads, our favorite books?emind us that happy endings do exist, even the?iniest?nes.?hrough this event, we hope to leave you with a gift that warms your soul?n the chilly winters as?ou bask in the comfort of a hand-picked book, with the contentment of having made a meaningful difference in someone else’s life
