Greetings from the Centre for Corporate Law (“CCL”).
With the onset of October, most of us only have a month till we begin interning again. For some of us, being in the midst of a recruitment season can be a challenging time too. While we cannot prepare for everything that a corporate work environment demands from us, we can certainly make a humble attempt at practically understanding an aspect we will be exposed to, frequently?investment agreements.
With that in mind, the Centre invites you to an?strong>interactive session?n ‘Key terms of investment agreements‘ including but not limited to Share Purchase Agreements, Share Subscription Agreements, etc. As students and potential practitioners of corporate law, navigating these agreements, understanding the rationale behind each clause, etc., becomes an essential skill.
And what’s better than discussing this with your senior who is already a working professional at a Tier-1?

Akash Kumar?s?/strong>an alumnus of National Law University Odisha from the 2010-15 batch. Having pursued his Master’s in Business Laws from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, he went?/strong>onto work for law firms such as Ikigai Law, Tatva Legal as a Senior Associate and he currently works at?strong>Nishith Desai Associates?s a?strong>Leader?n the?strong>general corporate practice.
