We are elated to publish that a team comprising of Suprabh Garg, Priyank Shukla and Rithika Mathur had represented the university at 8th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition 2019 held from 16-18 August 2019 and has won the citation of Best Memorial for both the Respondents and Petitioner sides. The team has also been adjudged Quarter-Finalist.
 
Further, Suprabh Garg won the citation of Best Researcher.

The team comprising of M. Tanvi, Adyasha Nanda and Hariom Kamal Singh has been awarded the citation of “Best Memorial in the 1st round” of the 35th BCI All-India Inter-University Moot Court Competition, 2019.

The team comprising of Amruta Pradhan, Niyati Maheshwari, Omkar Hemanth and Shreya Sundararaman of National Law University Odisha has been adjudged as the Octo-Finalist of the prestigious Oxford Price Media Moot Court Competition 2019.

The team has thus retained the University’s legacy in this moot court competition by qualifying for the World rounds and breaking into the rounds of top 16 for the second time in past two years consecutively.

NLU Odisha for the third time in last four years had again broken into the Top 32 teams at the World rounds of the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. The NLUO team comprised of Debarshi Chakraborty, Kevin Mathew George, Suhel Qureshi, and Vegadarshi Karun.

Additionally, the team has also won the Citation of “Alone E Evans Award for Best-Combined Memorials”.

The achievement is one of the biggest mooting achievement of our University till date and we are extremely proud of the team.

The team comprising Revathi Thushara Tapila, Ayushi Shukla and Amit Kumar has been declared as winners of the 9th Justice P. N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition 2019.

Additionally, the team got the citation of 2nd Best Memorial and Revathi Thushara Tapila was adjudged as the Best Speaker (Female). This achievement has continued the winning streak of NLU Odisha in 2019.
