About Ms. Rashmi Rekha Baug
Dr. Rashmi Rekha Baug currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack. With over eight years of teaching and research experience at NLUO, her work focuses on criminal law and criminal justice. She completed her Ph.D. in Law from Utkal University, with an empirical study on witness protection in Odisha’s criminal justice system. She holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and an LL.M. with a specialization in Criminal Law from Madhusudan Law College, Utkal University. Before entering academia, she practised as an advocate before the Odisha High Court and subordinate courts. She has authored several scholarly publications and presented her research at numerous national and international seminars and conferences.

Research Interests – Criminal Justice System; Witness Protection; Evidence Law; Penal Reforms; Gender Justice; and Child Rights.
