Akanksha Yadav is an Assistant Professor (Law) at NLU Odisha), and a part-time PhD Scholar at NLU Delhi. She completed her graduation from Dr. RMLNLU Lucknow, and post-graduated from NALSAR as a double gold medallists for securing the highest CGPA in LL.M. and topping her Research Methodology and Legal Writing Course. She has formerly worked as an Assistant Officer (Law), NTPC.
Her interest area includes socio-legal issues including intersection of law and feminism, child rights, criminal law, and so on. Through her doctoral research, she aims to propose a framework on valorization of housework which includes the dimensions of recognition and redistribution in the existing Indian Law.
She is also acting as a Co-director of Centre for Child Rights, NLU Odisha, and a member of the Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA), NLU Delhi.
