NSS Bureau of NLUO visited Munda Sahi Village and Babatilka Nagar for cleanliness drive under the ‘Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta’ (ETEG) campaign on 1st October 2023

The National Service Scheme, Bureau of the National Law University, Odisha (NLUO) visited Babatilka Nagar (Sector 9, CDA Cuttack) and Munda Sahi Village (Sector 13, CDA, Cuttack) and, on 1st October 2023 (Sunday) between 10 am -12 pm.
The visits were undertaken to conduct cleanliness drives as mandated under the ‘Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta’ (ETEG)?ampaign under the Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
At Babatilka Nagar, student volunteers with the faculty coordinators engaged in the cleanliness drive at a children’s park near the community centre. The NSS team along with local community leaders cleaned the park premises.
At Manda Sahi village, the student volunteers with the faculty coordinators and staff took part in a cleanliness drive along with the locals of the area. Also, present during the occasion was Ms. Hillary Lenka, Principal, Ratha Sahoo Government Primary School, CDA Sec. – 13, Cuttack. Before the start of the programme, the student volunteers and faculty took part in a cleanliness drive inside the school building. Also, a cleanliness drive was conducted on the premises of the School and the adjacent areas. The community members along with the students, faculty, and staff took part in the drive.
At both venues, the Swachhata Pledge (Cleanliness pledge) was undertaken by the participants during the programmes.

The team of Faculties?hat visited Munda Sahi, are Dr. Maynak Tiwari, (Programme Coordinator, NSS Bureau, NLUO), Mr. Kumarjeeb Pegu (Programme Officer, NSS Bureau, NLUO), and Kriti Srivastava (Programme Officer, NSS Bureau, NLUO). Also, Programme Associate, NLUO, Mr., Durbadala Mantry was present during the visit. Ms. Hillary Lenka, Principal, Ratha Sahoo Government Primary School also attended the event at Munda Sahi.
The programmes were a grand success due to the enthusiastic participation of the community along with the students, faculty, and staff of the NSS Bureau of the National Law University.
